On a whim, we decided to start our tour of area Catholic Churches with St Mary's in Littleton. The choice of St Mary's was due to the fact that Mass hadn't started yet when we made our decision to "church".
So, after 15 years of attending Sunday Mass at Pax Christi Chrurch (at least, somewhat "attending" for me), we went off to St Mary's, catching the 11:30AM Mass. It was a neutral experience, certainly one that didn't discourage us from pursuing our little quest.
From St Mary's Littleton website (http://www.stmarylittleton.org/about/history) - Will you please hereafter take care of Littleton giving them Mass twice a month on Sundays?

these words, on September 7, 1900, Bishop Matz assigned Fr. Richard Brady to
the small Catholic community south of Loretto Heights College along the South
Platte River.

The History page in St Mary's website is fairly extensive and interesting ... please visit the site with the above link.
Thank you for putting together this tour. I enjoyed every one of your pages. I'm putting together a similar tour and your information was extremely helpful. I've got 120 Colorado churches in my list (you added some) that I hope to visit in 2018. I want to take video of them to use in a YouTube video about Colorado churches. Did anyone ask you not to take pictures? What did you do -- go to Mass and then take pictures? Thank you again for this project. Wonderful!
